Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a treatment modality in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) that is used for treating patterns of disease and alleviating pain. It is performed by inserting small needles into specific acupuncture points in order to stimulate and produce a desired effect. Acupuncture has been proven to release naturally occurring chemicals in the body, such as endorphins, which is believed to be one of the ways in which acupuncture can provide pain relief.

Why are Low Stress Handling® techniques important?
Veterinary visits can be a stressful experience for some pets, and it is our job to ensure they are as stress-free as possible. Low-Stress Handling® techniques are essential for veterinary visits because they significantly reduce anxiety and fear in pets, making the experience more positive for both animals and their owners. By minimizing stress, these techniques not only improve the overall well-being of pets during examinations and procedures, but also enhance the accuracy of diagnostics and the effectiveness of treatments. Gentle handling fosters trust between pets and veterinary staff, leading to better cooperation, fewer injuries, and a more compassionate, stress-free environment where pets feel safe and cared for.
